Ringier Romania, established in 1992, is a key player on the local media market, managing over 120 newspapers and magazines and producing videos, web content and mobile platforms. The biggest publishing group in Romania's portfolio includes some of the country’s best-known media titles and leading digital marketplaces such as Libertatea, GSP, ELLE, Viva!, Unica, Avantaje, Auto-Bild, Psychologies, eJobs.ro, WeAreHR and HRWorld.

As a Product Owner at Ringier Romania, I lead the development and delivery of digital products that meet the needs of our publications and stakeholders. My main focus was creating user-friendly web products and ensuring they aligned with the overall business strategy.

At Ringier Romania, I worked closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and marketers, to deliver high-quality products that met user needs and business objectives. I used my strong analytical and communication skills to define and prioritize product features, manage product backlogs, and communicate with stakeholders and team members.

I also facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to ensure our development process is efficient and effective. Throughout my tenure, I have maintained a customer-centric approach, constantly gathering feedback from users to improve our products

Driving the vision, strategy, new product development (prioritization, discovery & delivery, product launch), and lifecycle management (positioning, pricing, sales);

In charge of the Agile process & SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) as the Product Owner;

Bridging the technical, business, and user experience of the product, with a focus on hypothesis testing and data-driven decision making;

Building the backlog of Epics, User Stories to achieve business objectives and keep the backlog updated in accordance with the Ready for Development definition;

Acting as a liaison between business leaders, development, QA, and project team, highlights problem areas, gaps, or conflicts derived from the information gathered;

Gather and document client business requirements / technical specifications;

Communicated project requirements with product delivery team: developers, analysts, product managers;

Tested the product for quality assurance and validate client requirements;

Analyze and validate process flows, identify corner cases, translate business requirements to technical requirements and provide business reasoning for each item;

Assessed and prepared implementation prerequisites (mock-ups, sandbox environment, third party solutions);

Designed and created custom reports to measure performance;

Provided a proactive role, together with the Scrum Master, in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals;

Created, evaluated, adjusted, and constantly improved sprint processes;

Documentation and sending of all materials in the auctions in which the company participates;
